Report descriptions and definitions:
Sort Sequence: Report is sorted by
Organization/Account, Job Group (JG), Position Control Number, Fiscal
Year; showing both filled and unfilled positions.
Find (Search): Use the browser's 'Find' function [CNTL-F] to look
for Organization numbers or even Employee Name strings.
Sample Usage: Use this report to determine which Position Control
Number to use for a department's pooled position accounts (student
employees, part-time faculty, graduate assistants etc...).
View the Positions
and Assignments with Salary or Positions
and Assignments without Salary report for a complete list of department
positions and assignments. Both specific and pooled is available to
assist in completing HR-related paperwork.
View the Pooled
Position Number List to determine pooled Position Control Numbers and
corresponding account numbers only. This report is much smaller than
the Positions and Assignments report. If you don't see a Position
Control Number that corresponds to a needed account for your organization,
call the Office of Budget Planning to have one created.
This report can be used to determine which
Position Control Numbers to use for vacant positions. The report
shows employee information for anyone that occupied the position within the
last six months. The report does not show job groups 'A', 'S' and
'G', which are shown for only the last 90 days. This could be very
useful for the process of assigning returning nine-month faculty members.
